Why The NHS Is In Trouble

Post by Ali Dogan » 12 Feb 2017, 12:12

The UK spends a lower proportion on health than other EU countries already

but the increased spending on the NHS has slowed down drastically under the Tory led governments

at a time when the UK population is living longer

Image

meaning more money will spent on the elderly

Image

but pressure is heaped on A&E services because social care, which elderly and more vulnerable people rely on, has been cut via the local council cuts, meaning less targeted funding for the most in-need group

Image

and less access for the most in need people to Social Care, the correct type of care they need

Image

at a time when the natural demand at A&Es is rising

which all means A&E performance in England against 4 hour waiting target is at it's lowest ever
